The worst type of person to have on your admin team is someone who doesn’t understand the structure of the application, doesn’t communicate with stakeholders, or is too busy with other application to devote the time needed to properly support JIRA.
Whether you hire a dedicated administrator or use existing employees as part of an administration team, the roles, responsibilities, and expectations should be clearly defined.
Once finalized, these items should become part of a job description.
